Drawing and Painting

Past the point of basics? Want to refine your art skills? The course goes past the surface-level art classes taught in school and dives deeper into this elusive subject. In our drawing and painting course, students will be introduced to proper shading and contrasting for landscape pieces, tips for drawing bodies and portraits, and various contemporary artists. In a world where autocorrect and Grammarly are omnipresent, and texting is increasingly informal, students’ writing skills don't get nearly enough practice in everyday life. This course will teach kids vocabulary and grammar rules to improve their English writing and speaking. Video Game Design

Need more than the block-dragging “coding”? Want to learn how to program games of your own? You can begin learning 3D game design today with Vern! Unity 3D software will be used, which applies the C# programming language to craft fun, intricate, and realistic games. Students will code their imaginations into existence. This course is suggested for middle-schoolers with some previous coding knowledge. But not to fear, everything will be taught in this new Vern course, from operating the functions to debugging the code. Don’t miss out and sign up today!
Website Design

Interested in creating your own blog, or a new website? Learn how to set up your own website with this new Vern course! Utilizing HTML and CSS design, students will code their own websites, learning about how to structure and add various content. Web design is not only useful for blogging or business, but these skills can help kids learn the importance of organization and aesthetics, as well as good first impressions. World History
