Intro to Creative Writing

Want to let loose and explore your inventive side? Creative writing is the most powerful and fundamental tool for unlocking your skills of communication and self-expression! By the end of this class, you'll have crafted two original pieces and mastered the basics of creative writing, including various types of fiction, creative expression, and figurative language. These skills will encourage innovative thinking by sparking your creativity, sharpening your storytelling, and empowering you to share your creative voice.

English Language Arts

Schedule: Tuesdays, March 18 - May 6

Human Geography

Ever wonder why people live where they do or how different places around the world are connected? In this class, you will explore how people, places, and the environment shape each other. Through fun activities and lessons, you will learn about cultures, cities, transportation, and the ways we use natural resources. By the end of the class, you will be able to think like a geographer, understand why communities look different around the world, and see how geography affects out everyday lives. Get ready to travel the world with no passport needed!

Intro to Art

This course invites students to explore the diverse world of visual arts. This class covers a broad range of artistic techniques while introducing key principles of design, composition, and color theory. Through hands-on projects and creative problem-solving, participants will develop their skills and personal style, gaining confidence in their artistic abilities. Whether a beginner or with some experience, this course provides a supportive environment to discover and nurture a passion for art.

Power of Pre-Algebra

Schedule: Saturdays, March 22 - May 10

Time: 2-3 PM EST

Grade Level: 3rd - 8th

Build a strong math foundation with Power of Pre-Algebra! This engaging online course introduces key pre-algebra concepts like number operations, fractions, decimals, ratios, basic equations, and geometry. Through interactive lessons, real-world applications, and fun problem-solving challenges, students will gain confidence and prepare for future math success and get a step up on their peers.

Writing is a popular course! To accommodate the number of students that sign up, we've split the course into two classes, Writing Red and Writing Green. These two courses are both open to students in grades 4-7, teaching them how to write proper essays that will captivate the reader. With PowerPoints, example essays, unique feedback, and more, students will become entirely different writers in just eight weeks. Sign up today!
