Charlotte Austegard: Chapter Director
Charlotte Austegard is a junior attending Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Maryland. As a straight-A student in all honors and AP classes, Charlotte demonstrates a strong commitment to academic excellence. She is a member of the Spanish Honor Society, Science Honor Society, National Honor Society, and Psi Alpha. Charlotte has been an active captain of her school's varsity dance team, winning MVP her sophomore year. At her dance studio, she instructs children ranging from ages 4 to 13. In addition to her achievements in dance, Charlotte has played the cello for the past eight years and was selected for her school’s symphony orchestra. Charlotte is passionate about psychology and social justice, fields in which she is eager to further her knowledge and make a positive impact. This year she will serve as a fellow within the organization Operation Understanding DC. She is excited to continue her journey of learning and growth and looks forward to contributing to her community and beyond!
Parker Cho: Chapter Director
Parker Cho is a junior at Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Maryland, where he exemplifies academic excellence by taking a full course load of honors and AP classes. His dedication to scholarship is further reflected through his active membership in various honors societies, including Psi Alpha, the Math Honors Society, and the National Honors Society. Parker is also deeply involved in various school organizations, contributing to the Korean Language Club, Chemistry Olympiad, Science Olympiad, and achieving success in his school’s DECA organization. Beyond his academic pursuits, Parker is passionate about community engagement. He enjoys playing basketball and volunteers his time coaching young children. Parker is thrilled to collaborate with Vern, aiming to enhance his community impact while working alongside other motivated students.
